Review: I'm still trying to figure out why this movie left me a strange taste in the mouth. The strange, coming from a movie and have nothing to say about it. Possibly because almost nothing happens. They make a party. Go bananas. Things burns. Nothing you can not guess trailer.It It took me a while to realize why. There has been a total open-mouthed at the center of the film. The message - nothing really matters, everyone has to do what it takes to be cool, skinny, popular, etc., and there are consequences. The self-destruction comes as empowerment.This nothing new, and I'm too young to be seriously offended by this sentiment, but the Project X has a higher pitch than ever. It's like watching a transmission of messages, links and reviews of Facebook fly beyond 90 minutes. Interspersed with heavy bass lines and screaming. It feels like a music video. It's a music video. And satisfying.Its made in the image of John Hughes movies, updated for the generation of Ritalin, but it moves very fast. I found myself wanting to say about this scene where ... but realized that there were scenes that I found pretty funny bother recounting.I know how this sounds. As an enemy. But it is not. It's just that I do not care. There was nothing to worry about. Nothing I had not seen in a dozen music videos a dozen times, but now, with a couple of fat kids thrown in. The only thing that makes me shudder is the overtness movies nihilism. Note all. And anyone. This is the image of you SoCal these children are.
