HealthReview: For me, just to hear the words Autobot and Decepticon returns so many childhood memories. I was a big fan of cartoons G1 (never watched any of the side effects) and Marvel comics from the UK and U.S.. Cartoon is attractive to me as a child and deeper myths comics in my teens with cosmic battles between gods, talk yin / yang on why some transformers are inherently good or bad. It was cracking stuff and much excitement that I greeted the news of movie.Transformers new big budget (2007) provided! Ok, so they are fiddling with little background story, but also to most of the various versions of the show. I thought they were seen on the main characters. Optimus was Bumblebee, Megatron and STARSCREAM all the same characters as the TV show and comics. I really like the fact that Bumblebee only communicate through radio signals, and after the scene execrable characters introduced small Autobot Optimus primes and various sermons, really wish that was the case for all Autobots. The Decepticons are very interesting, although we see anywhere near enough of STARSCREAM. Megatron and Soundwave effectively and realize the best characterisations in the film. The people in the story are all doing a good job. Shia Lebeouf is open again, and actually quite entertaining as Spike. Megan Fox is smoking hot brunette bomb, still plays a stereotype (a hot girl with a hobby blokey who deep down just wants to fit in), but at least not a damsel in distress, as we usually see in these films. Parents spikes uncomfortable, but funny. John Turtorros character seems to have accidentally stumbled into the film during a coffee break from the Coen brothers movie. It seems like he has something more interesting to do a film sharper than this. But his presence, and out of place, a big white welcome. My with this film is that, after executing a nice place for the finale, appeared to enter the speed of light in its final twenty minutes. Its often hard to tell whos fighting. Theres also a scene of death we should feel pity for, including character whos been in a few scenes, and a maximum of two lines of clich? D trite dialogue. The decision is neat and well established continuity. All in all, this was a reasonably faithful big screen portrayal of the characters wanted to grow unless the story. The sequel arrives, and Armageddon-ish soundtrack are both wonderful and really hammer home a sense of awe and wonder as the Autobots arrive. Ministerial awkward attempts to communicate with humanity is ridiculous. The human characters except Turtorro (seems like no human I've ever met), all seem to respond to the transformers and the war in the way a normal human being responds. It's a very different story elements and beloved Autobot and Decepticons as volcano and underwater bases are lost. But what's wrong with the characters that we are fighting the same war, the way that the new generation will find available, and not alienate me, well, not in the original version anyway. I'm more than happy to share Optimus, Megatron and Bumblebee with a new generation of fans. |
