Review: Wes Anderson is one of the most original artists already established. None of the films can be divided into a specific genre. His latest, the Grand Hotel Budapest, which opened the Berlin Film Festival, continues this trend. It is a story in the history of a different story. As long as each shot is carefully arranged as if a work of art hanging in a museum, history wise Anderson let your imagination run wild. Although the story (Tom Wilkinson), a story in history (with Jude Law & F Murray Abraham) is a simple story, the story in history, in the course of history, which includes most of the film is a wild ride on the train raving about storytelling. It also has a cast of Lifetime: Ralph Fiennes, Tilda Swinton, Edward Norton, Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, Harvey Keitel, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, and many scenes. This will delight fans of Anderson, but most likely intended for artistic cinema, because it is too off-center mainstream audience. Set design and music are very good, and even the end credits are cleverly done (and still received an ovation from the audience).
