Review: The simplest pleasures in life are the best, and this movie is one of them. The combination of rather basic story of love and adventure, this film goes beyond the usual weekend equal wit and sheer magic. Each character is a joy and you just want to see more of them. The Princess Bride is based on the novel by William Goldman insurmountable, who also wrote the screenplay. Although it is rated film, I can not recommend the book on which it is based more fully. It is only the most talented, charming fable ever written, and fills in many details that are impossible to be on the screen. The only other film of this type, which I think it is more fun that was Danny Kayes court jester, costume more Comedy / Adventure / Romance, which I also highly recommend. |
