Review: Misery and Stand By Me was the best adaptation of this, now you can add this Shawshank art communication device, is easily one of the best forms of all are numerous among other things, and I know I'm not the first to say this and I certainly wont be the last. Standing on IMDb is a true barometer. No. 3 on the day and I'm sure it could be number 1 So I'm just going to skip all the normal Promise movie because we all know how big it is. But let me add that perhaps what I find so fascinating is that Stephen King wrote Shawshank it.King is one of the best writers in the world. Books like it and Castle Rock series are some of the greatest stories ever told. But his best adjustments are always made with the best directors. The Shining was brilliantly interpreted by Kubrick and of course the aforementioned Misery and Stand By Me, both by Rob Reiner. Now comes Frank Darabont on the scene and makes arguably the best King film of all time. He seems to understand what the king wants, he beautifully set. What makes this film one of the best of all time, the message it gives. It is one of eternal hope. Andy Dufresne, played by Tim Robbins in jail for a crime he did not commit moved. But he never loses hope. He never gives up his quest to once again become a free man. His many years of perseverance, patience and understanding hold not only healthy, but also gives the mind and spirit of the will to live. This film has a different atmosphere. There has never been such a thing before, and I do not know if it does not have any say again.Im more about this model, it has now including ; already been said, but just suffice it to say that I am glad that Forrest Gump won best picture at 94 I would have been happy if the same since Pulp Fiction : a Shawshank would have won. It is a good film and one that will be appreciated for years to come.
